Hello All,

It gives me great pleasure to come back to blogging scene after a long period. Today I am posting one of the few remaining comics in 3D comics series. You will need 3D Ana glyph glasses to read this comics. If I remember correctly it was provided with one of the Times of India issues recently.  It is titled 'चिम्पू पिकलू भोलू गोलू' . It was published by Diamond comics and has some great artwork for 3D comics. Cover is missing, sorry about that.If anyone has the cover please provide the same I hope you enjoy it.

Tarzan - Rescue at Mount Talamuna - 3D

           Hi all, I am back from my long absence due to personal problems. Today I am posting next in line of 3D comics. Tarzan's  Rescue at Mount Talamuna - 3D. This is one of the rare 3D comic book I found where story is also good. I hope you enjoy it. As you know about 3D comics, this one will also require special 3D anaglyph glasses to read.

I had scans all ready months ago but editing was done today evening by me and Prabhat. He has shown his magic in non 3D pages.

Captain 3D and Star War - 3D

Hello Comic lovers, It gives me great pleasure to present you next comics in the series of 3D comics. This was published by Star Comics Delhi who were pioneers of 3D comics in India. However due to poor stories and high costs this gener of comics soon disappeared. This is one of the prime examples. The title says Captain-3D but you won't find him anywhere in the book. :) . Story also is poor. The 3D illustrations are however good. I hope you like the Comic.
You will need a 3D anaglyph pair of glasses to read this comic. It has red glass on one eye and blue glass on the other. These glasses are available on ebay for as little as Rs 50 or below.

इस कॉमिक्स का स्कैनिंग मैंने किया है और सादे पन्नों की सफाई करने में प्रभात ने अपना कमाल दिखाया है| मुखपृष्ठ और अंतिम पन्ना एकदम फटा पुराना था, फिर से  अब नया लगता है |

Jungle Ki Rani - 3D

I hope you have purchased/made your 3D glasses by now. I have next in series of 3D comics, Jungle ki Rani by Diamond comics. The main stories are about queen of jungle Karishma, who is a sort of female Tarzan, Illustrations and stories are quite good, Rare for any published 3D comics. Cover is bit risque, so I was hesitant first about posting.

Samudri Daitya Ki Wapasi - 3D

Hi All,

I hope you have all got your 3d glasses by now. I was planning to post a series of 3D comics after my last post, but some serious personal problems affected my plans.

Here is second 3D comics in the series of 3D comics.

It is based on famous movie Return of the jaws. Although it is a comic it doesn't have a single baloon. I tried my best to clean this comic but I am no photoshop expert and I found to my dismay that mycleaning methods caused loss of 3D effect. Prabhat has cleaned all non 3D pages for me.

Devils and Wonder Glasses 3D + Gold Key Flash Gordon #25

Happy Valentine's day to you all.

Today with this post Books and Comics reaches another milestone of 300 posts.

I am posting very special comic for the occassion, First 3D comics published in India.

It was published my Star Comics in 1980s. It started a new trend of 3D comics, but it did not last long. Mainly I feel due to bad stories, cost and also due to fake 3D comics in market.

With each comics was provided on pair of 3D glasses red color on left eye and cyan color on right. It was based on 3D anaglyph images technology. Wikipedia has an excellent article on this subject.

Unfortunately you do need a pair of 3D glasses. This articles has description of glasses It is pretty easy to make them. All you need is thin cardboard and transparent film of red and cyan color. These glasses are also available on ebay for about Rs.50. Search for Anaglyph or 3d glasses. I have many other 3D comics in my collection,if your response is favourable I'll post them all.

Most of you probably don't have 3D glasses, until you get them enjoy this long awaited Flash Gordon comics from Gold Key.
